Sequels and spin-offs, which were rare in the past, have become a ubiquitous part of the film world today, with several successful franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the Star Wars series. In today’s printable collection, I bring you coloring pages inspired by the latest installment of a much-loved animated film franchise that tugged at the heartstrings of young and old alike, Toy Story 5.
Toy Story 5 brings the main protagonists, Woody, Buzz, and Jessie, back from the previous film in a new adventure with their owner, Bonnie, who is now growing up and beginning to lose interest in her toys, especially after her parents gifted her a tablet, Lilypad.
Released on June 19, 2026, Toy Story 5, made on a budget of $250 million dollar, is among the most expensive animated films, and post its release, the film has already broken several records, garnering over $764.8 million worldwide.
Directed by Andrew Stanton, who had earlier made films like Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and Finding Dory for Pixar Animation Studios, Toy Story 5 features an original score by Randy Newman, who scored all the previous films in the franchise.

The rag doll cowgirl, Jessie, is friendly and smart and enjoys being Bonnie’s favorite, but her fear of abandonment, due to being donated to charity by her first owner, Emily resurfaces when Bonnie spends all her time on her new electronic device.
Karen Beverly or Knifey, Plastic Knife Toy
Another toy that Bonnie created is Karen Beverly, a plastic knife with yellow yarn hair and a green dress, as a female counterpart to Forky, aptly nicknamed Knifey.
Lilypad, Bonnie’s New Favorite Thing
Gifted to Bonnie to help her make friends, Lilypad is a new electronic device, a frog-shaped tablet. She becomes Bonnie’s new favorite plaything, causing her to neglect her toys. While Jessie tries her best, Lilypad ends up thinking the toys are hindering Bonnie from making friends and plans to get rid of them.
Potato Head, Cynical And Sarcastic Spud
Mr. Potato Head is a plastic potato toy with a sarcastic, cynical attitude and a touch of hot temper. He comes with detachable body parts, like his pink ears and orange nose, but can still control them.
Mrs. Potato Head, Sweet-Tempered And Easygoing
Like her husband, Mrs. Potato Head also possesses detachable body parts. Unlike Mr. Potato Head, she is a sweet-tempered plastic sweet potato toy and wears a woolly white hat with a flower design.

Another new character introduced in Toy Story 5 is Smarty Pants, a potty-training toy designed like a toilet paper roll, found in Blaze’s old toy shed. It has spent years in sleep mode since Blaze outgrew her potty-training days.

Coming out of the forgotten toy shed after ages, here is Snappy, a joyful and eager digital camera. With the lens as her eye, Snappy features shades of pink and a tripod stand.

Keeping Smarty Pants and Snappy company in the junk toy drawer, here’s Atlas. Shaped like the head of a hippopotamus, Atlas is a talking toy equipped with a GPS and running on batteries.

Always there for his friends, Woody comes back when Jessie asks for his help in Toy Story 5.
