Of the total water on Earth, 97 percent of it is found in the ocean. In today’s collection, I bring together coloring pages inspired by the creatures and the world under the sea or ocean.
Earth’s water surface is divided into five major oceans: the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic Ocean, and the Antarctic Ocean. The remaining areas are named as seas, gulfs, bays etc., depending on their location, like near a coastal line or sections of the ocean. However, the ocean and sea are often used interchangeably to convey the same body of saltwater. The sea or the ocean plays a crucial role in making life on earth possible and is home to diverse habitats for a wide variety of plants, animals and other organisms.
