30 Disney Easter Coloring Pages Printable

Religious festivals play an important role in keeping the age-old traditions and customs of a particular religion alive. When the celebration crosses the boundaries of religion and evolves into an event for the entire community at large, it becomes a cultural event. In today’s collection, I have gathered illustrations of beloved Disney characters celebrating one such religious festival, Easter.

Easter, a Christian festival, commemorates the resurrection of Jesus, three days after his crucifixion and burial, bringing an end to the period of Lent, 40 days of fasting and penance. Based on a lunisolar calendar, Easter is celebrated on a Sunday following the first full moon after the equinox.

Over the years, aside from the Christian rituals, several customs have come to be associated with Easter that are celebrated by both Christians and non-Christians, like the Easter Bunny, Easter egg decoration and egg hunting.
