If you are even slightly into manga or anime, you must have heard about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, a sensational series renowned all over the world for its extraordinary characters, exceptional storytelling and brilliant animation. The story revolves around the Demon Slayer Corps, an ancient organization led by Tanjiro Kamado, tasked with eliminating demons to protect humanity.
The Corps is further divided into factions, like the twelve Kizuki, the most dangerous demons and the Hashira, the strongest warriors trained in dedicated combat techniques known as Breathing Styles.
Given the popularity of this anime, Sony Pictures released a movie adaptation titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle, which has been making waves worldwide, ever since it hit the theaters in September 2025.

Akaza
I’m kicking off the list with one of the most memorable antagonists of the series, Akaza. He’s a skilled demon who fights using martial arts and looks for only strong opponents.
Amane Ubuyashiki
Amane Ubuyashiki is Kagaya’s wife and his support system in managing the Corps. She is a strong, calm and composed woman who acts tactfully and professionally while communicating with the Hashira, whenever it’s required.
Aoi Kanzaki
Aoi Kanzaki is not a frontline warrior for the Corps, but a compassionate healer. She tends the injured slayers and makes sure they recover quickly and face their next battles. Her no nonsense attitude combined with subtle kindness makes her an extraordinary character.
Genya Shinazugawa
Genya Shinazugawa is another formidable demon slayer who doesn’t just make use of his Breathing techniques, but also consumes the demon flesh to gain their powers. This gives him an edge against even the most powerful demons.
Giyu Tomioka
Giyu Tomioka is one of the first Hashiras of the Demon Slayer franchise. He is a stoic and reserved Demon Slayer. who lost his right arm while fighting Muzan Kibutsuji. He may not be a very confident warrior, but his skills and determination make up for it.
Gyomei Himejima
Gyomei Himejima is arguably the strongest warrior present in the Demon Slayer Corps, that too, despite being blind. His heightened senses help him fight with elevated efficiency and with incredible reach and power. He is also a very spiritual warrior who relies highly on prayers.
Hinaki Ubuyashiki
Hinaki Ubuyashiki is Kagaya and Amane’s eldest daughter and helps her father manage the Demon Slayer Corps. She has a quiet personality and is completely committed to her duties, just like her mother
Inosuke Hashibira
Inosuke Hashibira is one of the most unique characters with a boar head and an unrefined personality. He is a formidable and agile warrior with an unwavering spirit and fearless attitude. But beneath the brave façade lies a vulnerable character with a strong desire to bond with others.
Kanao Tsuyuri
Kanao Tsuyuri, the adoptive sister of Shinobu Kocho, is a docile, introspective and disciplined member of the Demon Slayer Corps. She masters the Flower Breathing technique and has the unique ability to read her opponents, which makes him a crucial member of the Corps.
Kyojuro Rengoku
Kyojuro Rengoku is an inspiring and passionate warrior with steadfast resolve and limitless enthusiasm. He is the Flame Hashira and believes strongly in protecting the weak, which makes him an unforgettable character.
Mitsuri Kanroji
Sweet and affectionate Mitsuri, the Love Hashira has a delicate appearance outside and astonishing strength inside. In fact, she is one of the strongest Hashiras, all thanks to her inhuman muscle density. She is also a highly compassionate comrade and cares deeply for her fellow warriors.
Muichiro Tokito
Muichiro Tokito, the youngest Hashira, is a naturally gifted demon slayer. His Mist Breathing technique gives him an unmatched advantage in combat, allowing him to disorient the demons with unpredictable movements.
Murata
Murata may not be a primary character of the series, but he serves quite an important role at the Demon Slayer Corps. His resilience, solidarity and support for the team are noteworthy, especially during battles.
Muzan Kibutsuji
Meet Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King and the creator of all the demons in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Muzan is an immortal being with unmatched power and strength and has been around for centuries. He is a great manipulator and controls all the Twelve Kizuki with utmost authority and fear.
Nezuko Kamado Coloring Page
Nezuko Kamado is Tanjiro’s sister who was turned into a demon. But she flouts the expectations of the demons by retaining her humanity and refusing to harm humans. Obanai Iguro
Obanai Iguro is an aggressive Demon Slayer with fierce loyalty to the Corps. He is a Serpent Hashira with breathing techniques that mimic a snake’s movement. This makes him an indispensable member of the corps and a difficult to counter opponent to the Demons.
Sabito
Sabito, the fallen hero, is a former apprentice of Sakonji Urokodaki and a highly skilled swordsman. He even helps Tanjiro Kamado in his Final Selection exam, which further refines his swordsmanship.
Sanemi
Sanemi is one of the most aggressive Demon Slayers with extreme hostility to demons, which stems from a tragic past. His mother was converted into a demon and she slaughtered the entire family, leaving Sanemi traumatic for life. He belongs to Wind Hashira and uses his fierce and unpredictable style to fight the demons.
Shinobu
Shinobu is a poison and medicine expert Hashira with unique demon slaying powers like a bee sting or dragonfly attack, which she veils under her pleasant smile and gentle demeanor. Her mission is a personal one as one of the demons, Doma, killed her sister, and she wants to avenge it.
