July 15, 2016, marked an important milestone in the world of entertainment. Stranger Things, an American series by the Duffer Brothers, was released on Netflix, to critical and commercial success, impacting pop culture around the globe. As the series reaches its final season in November 2025, I bring you a printable collection of coloring pages celebrating some of its beloved characters.
A mix of science fiction, crime, and supernatural elements, Stranger Things revolves around a young girl, Eleven, with telekinetic powers who escapes a human experiment facility and finds safety and friendship among a group of friends. During the experiment on her, she inadvertently opens the portal between Earth and the Upside Down, an alternate dimension, which leads to deadly effects in Hawkins in the 1980s.

Argyle, Smart And Chilled-Out Guy
One of the new characters introduced in season four, Argyle is a chilled-out guy who works as a pizza delivery driver. He is Jonathan’s best friend and much-needed support system when he moves to Lenora Hills High School.
Billy, The Bad Boy Turned Savior
Billy got introduced in season two as the bad boy who is also a bad stepbrother to Max. His character goes through quite an arc in season three, getting possessed by the Mind Flayer, a demonic entity from the Upside Down, before ultimately sacrificing himself to save Eleven and others.
Demogorgon
Demogorgons have a distinct life cycle starting as eggs deposited inside a host and eventually thrown up, after which they turn into slug-like larvae. They then go through metamorphosis before becoming adult predators with flower-like heads, as illustrated on this page.
Dustin, Quick-Witted And Intelligent
Part of the group of close friends with Will, Lucas and Mike, Dustin’s extensive knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons game also makes him an expert on monsters. He looks cute and adorable but needs some help from Steve when it comes to making a good impression on girls.
Eleven, The Telekinetic Girl
Ever since her entry in season one, Eleven has proved to be a powerful force in the fight of humans against the creatures from the Upside Down. Kidnapped and experimented on since birth, she figures out the truth about her mother and her scientist ‘papa’, while finding a solid group of friends and family in Hawkins.
Erica Sinclair, Sassy, Snarky And Smart
Erica first entered the Stranger Things world in season two as Lucas’ sister. With her sassy remarks and snarky comments, she kept her brother and his nerdy friends on their toes. It takes her a couple of seasons to embrace the fact that she too, is a nerd.
Jim Hopper, Hawkins Chief Of Police
Jim Hopper, the laid back, depressed Chief of Police of Hawkins goes through quite a journey to become a responsible character, a father-figure to Eleven and a hero fighting to save the town through the seasons.
Jonathan Byers, Shy And Reserved
Jonathan Byers is a shy and reserved guy. He lives with the guilt of not being there for his brother Will after he goes missing. While he slowly steps out of his comfort zone through the seasons, he still finds it tough to share his feelings.
Lucas, Nerdy And Sporty
Slow to trust others and wary of strangers, Lucas enjoys being a nerd but also has basketball aspirations. At one point it becomes difficult to handle the two, straining his friendship with the group. Season four saw him at his strongest and weakest, as he stands up to his bully and almost loses Max.
Mind Flayer
Also referred to as the Shadow Monster, the Mind Flayer is a large, spider-like entity that psychically controls everything in the Upside Down. Be it vines, demogorgons, demobats or even humans, “the Flayed”, Mind Flayer connects all through a hive mind.
Murray
With a bit of a flair for comedy and sarcasm, Murray enters Stranger Things in season two as the private investigator who also believes in conspiracy theories. From helping to shut down Hawkins Lab to infiltrating a secret Russian base in Starcourt Mall, and even travelling to Russia to rescue Hopper, Murray has done it all.
Stranger Things 5, The Final Season
Season 4 climax left more questions in the viewers’ minds than answers. The fifth and final season returns in two parts to bring the masterful series to a satisfying conclusion.
Joyce Byers, Strong And Determined
Taking care of both her sons, Jonathan and Will, as a single mother after her divorce, Joyce Byers is a strong and determined woman. Proven so in her unflinching quest to find answers when Will goes missing.
Mike Wheeler, Quirky And Intelligent
Mike Wheeler is devoted to his friends and the Dungeons & Dragons, from being a Dungeon Master of the group to joining the high school Hellfire Club. He is also a hopeless romantic, being the love interest of Eleven, yet confused about how to navigate the relationship.
Nancy Wheeler
While Nancy Wheeler starts as an outcast with an eye on the popular boy Steve, she discovers her passion for journalism and real connection with Jonathan. She also surprises other characters, including the viewers at home, with her proficiency in handling firearms.
“Papa” Dr. Martin Brenner
At first, one believed Dr. Brenner to be Eleven’s father, only to be revealed he is called “Papa” to not just Eleven but all the children he was experimenting on at Hawkins Lab. Ruthless and manipulative, his experiments destroyed the lives of many and let loose the danger from the Upside Down.
Robin, Unlikely Friend, Equally Resourceful
Steve strikes up an unlikely friendship with his ice cream parlor coworker Robin, entering the Stranger Things world in season three. She proves to be a dependable friend and equally resourceful, helping others find the secret Russian base and also dig up the Creel family history.
Will, Lost And Found
Will’s shy and timid nature is revealed in the first episode itself, where he disappears. Through the seasons, incidents hint at a link between the Upside Down and Will, revealing in Season four finale that Vecna is the presence overwhelming his mind.
Max, Tomboy Skateboarder
Max’s defiant tomboyish appearance with skateboarding and gaming skills, gets overshadowed by the PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms after her stepbrother Billy’s death. She becomes susceptible to Vecna’s power and ultimately ends up comatose.
One Or Henry Creel
Henry Creel grew up with psychopathic tendencies. As a young boy, he murders his mother and sister using telepathic powers. However, he ends up in a coma, and his father gets arrested for their murder. Dr. Brenner takes charge of Henry Creel, using him as test patient One to clone his powers in other kids. Once he grows up, his powers are laid dormant with an implant, and he’s made into an orderly to guide the kids.
Steve Harrington, Babysitter Of The Group
Popular in school for his looks and athletic capabilities, Steve Harrington sees growth in his story arc, from being arrogant and obnoxious to becoming the babysitter of the group of kids and a big brother to Dustin.
The Beauty Of The Stranger Things Logo
Another of the most talked about aspects of the series is the Stranger Things logo and the use of the music as the visual appears. The first and last letters of the first word in the first line, S and R, are larger and extend below, touching the next line. The design and the typeface are homage to the books and films of the 80s.
Vecna Coloring Page
Eleven exiles Henry Creel into the Upside Down after he kills the other children and staff. There, he undergoes disfiguring transformation and discovers strange creatures to control, becoming Vecna and attacking Hawkins for years, most recently through the Mind Flayer. He succeeds in opening the four gates to the Upside Down, one at each site of the murders he commits, including the few minutes when Max had died. Season four ends with rifts tearing all over Hawkins town, and Vecna’s control over Will.
